ART NOUVEAU GLASS VASE
This product is currently sold out.
An elegant and stunning 1900's art nouveau Loetz style vase.
This fantastic item has two interesting particularities in the process making, it has applied threading. The glass threads were applied as cooling and already in its final shape, and not melted into the body of the glass whilst still hot. And It also has 'Papillon' decoration.
Probably the most decorative period of glass design that there has been was between the years 1890 and 1930. The spring of 1900 saw the official 'birth' of Art Nouveau, with the World Fair held in Paris that year. Was a movement against industrial production although it finished as a movement commercially exploited because of the success in the market. After the paris exhibition there was a growing demand for "collectable" glass that never stopped.
